Linux time lapse video

This time lapse video is rather mundane.  But it demonstrates that time lapse photos can be taken with a simple webcam and Ubuntu Linux.

The xmacro from the previous post takes the photos at regular intervals.  They are stored in the .gnome2/cheese/media directory in sequential .jpg files.  If I could get my ffmpeg installation to work properly, then the .jpg files could be imported into the stop motion video software, converted to mpeg and uploaded to YouTube entirely Windows free.  However, I have not sorted out my ffmpeg installation, so I slipped over to the dark side and imported the .jpg files into Flash, one of the most useful of the dark side (Windows) applications.
