Gimp is indeed a great freeware program but as for it being a reason to use Linux? Gimp also runs under Windows. Run Linux for Linux sake if you like.

I haven't tried that, but it should work. Once the page recognizes the Flash script, whatever files it wants to access are controlled by Flash. My Flash menus successfully call other Flash menus.

Hey, Muse... Cool kayak stuff. Really nice color photos. I still like the paintings alot. This is such a neat blog. A friend of mine who went on the trip to Italy with us is planning to do a kayak trip of Venice. There are You Tube videos of such trips and it's the best way to see Venice because of course it's all a water city. You can see down the ancient alleyways and between buidlings, check out the fish and sea life, and believe it or not, beautiful algae. Very peaceful.

Rechecked the valve lash because I was not comfortable with the adjustment recommendations I found on Speedsterowners.com. My Volkwagens for Complete Idiots book steered me in another direction. Indeed, I was off by a couple thousandths on 5 of 8 valves. I then rechecked the points with my "cheater" glasses perched on my nose. Again .014" instead of the recommended .016". Then out of the blue it came to me. I never adjusted anything after modifying the exhaust system. I turned each of the 4 Dellorto idle mixture jets out 3/4 of a turn. Wow! Totally different vehicle.

Could have been a combination of many little things, but I suspect it was the fuel ratio since I am pushing a LOT more volume through the engine as a result of straight pipes and a 7" flow-through Outlaw exhaust system...

Problem solved. Brian, can I post pictures to this site?
